In what cases the insurer may refuse to pay a KASKO indemnity?

After a traffic accident the Agreed Statement has not been completed and submitted

An Agreed Statement may be completed if:

  • only two vehicles have been involved in the traffic accident, no significant damage has been caused to them and both of them can continue their way
  • no persons are injured
  • no damage to property of third parties has been caused
  • parties involved in the traffic accident are able to agree upon all the essential conditions of the event

Accident has not been reported to the police

The event must be reported to the police if the motor vehicle is stolen or personal effects from the vehicle are stolen, as well as when, for example, your vehicle has hit an animal on the road.

After a theft of a motor vehicle all the security system sets can not be presented by the owner

Security systems of the vehicle must meet the insurer’s requirements. The number of ignition keys, security system control panels must comply with that specified in the insurance application.

Water damage to vehicle engine

Damage occurred during transport of goods

The insurer does not compensate damage of motor vehicle caused under transport, loading and unloading of goods.

Overspeeding by more than 30 km/h

Significant overspeeding is considered to be deliberate violation of the Road Traffic Regulations, which significantly increases the risk of the insured vehicle to get involved in a traffic accident. One should take into consideration that in such case also other traffic participants are endangered.
