If the building permission is required for the construction, then, in accordance with legislative requirements, a builder’s third-party liability insurance policy must be presented to the Building Authority for obtainment of the permission.
Such an insurance policy covers the statutory liability of the owner (user / possessor) of the real property, who himself organizes the construction process and bears responsibility for it, relating to construction works of a private house or renovation works in his house or apartment.
For example, when you, in the course of engineering systems replacement / construction works, have caused a water leakage that has caused damage to your neighbours; or when in the course of roof reparation works a fire breaks out, causing damage / injury to third parties, etc.
