Note!

When taking out property insurance, make sure that the insurance company insures your property according to its reinstatement value! If you have insured your property according to its reinstatement value, then you've paid to the insurer enough to ensure full restoration of your property or purchase of new property.

Neither underinsurance nor overinsurance is advantageous to you because the insurer will cover your expenses in proportion to the insurance amount. In the case of underinsurance you will lose a part of remuneration, but in the case of overinsurance you will pay too much.
